Specifically, Articles 11, 12, and 31 of the UNDRIP acknowledge our right to protect and control our cultural heritage and expressions, which includes the content shared on our platforms.

Any replication or utilization of the content we publish on this website or our associated platforms [e.g Instagram, Facebook, YouTube] is strictly prohibited unless explicit permission is granted. For requests, please contact us via email. Following a transparent discussion on the basis of traditional deliberation, we will determine whether we authorize the use of our content in your work.

Members of certain organizations, including but not limited to the National Museum of Aruba, Aruba Etnia Nativa, Aruban Warriors, National Archive of Aruba, Leiden University, Utrecht University, National Archive of the Hague, The Hague University, and all anthropological and archaeological departments of universities worldwide, are explicitly prohibited from using our materials without our explicit consent.

However, we extend an exception to fellow Indigenous authors and scholars who seek to further elaborate on our writings, recognizing the shared understanding and respect for cultural heritage.

Sharing our content along with your thoughts and opinions is encouraged, provided proper attribution is given [e.g. linking, tagging, etc]. This is not just a courtesy but a fundamental aspect of respect for intellectual property and cultural expressions.

Lastly, we emphasize the principles of Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) as recognized in Article 19 of UNDRIP. Any use of our content should adhere to this principle, reflecting our right to control the use of our cultural and intellectual property.
